Which Walt Disney World Resort Should You Choose?
When you start to research the various Walt Disney World resorts, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. There are over 25 different resorts to choose from, so how do you choose the best fit for your family? Here are a few questions that can help you find the best options.
How Many People Do You Have?
If you are traveling in a group of four or fewer, then this question won’t help you much in narrowing down options. But if you have 5 or more, then there are only specific resorts that will be able to accommodate you without having to split into two separate rooms.
Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans - Riverside and the Art of Animation have rooms that fit families of 5. And the Deluxe Villa resorts have one, two, and three-bedroom options for even larger groups.
How Much Time Do You Plan To Spend At Your Resort?
If you plan to be at the parks from the minute they open to when the gates close at night and just need a place to rest your head before you do it all again the next day, a Value resort may be your best bet.
Or if you are planning a break day relaxing by the pool and checking out some resort activities, then I’d consider staying at a Moderate or Deluxe resort that can have more pool options along with multiple lounges and restaurants onsite.
What Amenities Are Important To You?
Are you hoping to have a slide at your resort or a splash pad area for younger kids? Or a variety of restaurant options at your resort or within walking distance? Were you hoping to be on the Skyliner route for quick access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios? Or is all of this low on your priorities list?
If you were hoping for specific amenities at your fingertips, then knowing what’s available at the resorts you’re considering is going to be key to making your decision.
